I am a doctoral candidate in Heath Services Research & Policy in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

My research focuses on the measurement and improvement of health care quality and value. Specifically, I am interested in how varying financial, behavioral and organizational factors influence patterns of health care utilization. My dissertation research examines trends in the provision of low-value services and evaluates the effect of an innovative payment policy on systemic overuse.

Prior to pursuing my PhD, I was an Intramural Research Training Award Fellow at the National Institutes of Health and I earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Go Quakers!
