My research interests center around the measurement and improvement of health care quality and value. My current research focus is in three main areas: understanding the magnitude and determinants of medical overuse, measuring the priorities and preferences of diverse stakeholders, and examining the impact of innovative payment models on health outcomes and spending. For my dissertation, I plan to modify an index of overused services to investigate national trends in the provision of low-value care and evaluate the effect of a state policy on systemic overuse in privately insured adults.
I am very excited about my ongoing projects and look forward to discussing them with you! All of my published papers are available via PubMed.
